The Hinckley Company is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use and transfer information provided to us by consumers when you use our websites(“Websites”) at http://www.hinckleyyachts.com, http://www.huntyachts.com, http://www.morrisyachts.com and https://hinckleysportboats.com or provide personal information when visiting our yachts at boat shows or events (“Events”).  The Hinckley Company may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.  You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with the changes.

Information Collected and Uses

Upon visiting our Websites, you will not be required to log in to see all of the information about our yachts and yacht services.  There is no need to provide us with personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”), however you may provide us Personal Information directly by submitting a form so that we may contact you (“Connect”) if you would like a sales representative to do so.  The information on a Connect form includes your name, address, email address, phone contact number, boating state, and models interested in.  If you do not submit a Connect form the only information we collect will be automatic tracking information in the form of a cookie from Salesforce Marketing Cloud software which powers our site.  Consumers who submit a Connect form will have their cookie information matched to the Personal Information submitted.  We use this Personal Information to manage how and when we contact you as well as your preferred means of communication, prior inquiry history, and boat purchase information from our sales records.  This Personal Information also allows us to respond to your questions and social media communication as well as providing you with more information on our yachts, yacht services, and our company overall.

Yachts and Yacht Servicers Customers

If you purchase a new or brokerage yacht from us or use one of our service yards for yacht services, we will collect and record information on the yachts and services ordered so that we can improve our service to you.  We will use the ordering and billing information provided to us in order to bill you for products and services.

Information We Automatically Collect

Even if you do not or have never submitted a Connect form we collect information about how you use our Websites, some of which may be considered Personal Information.  We may collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on The Hinckley Company’s Web sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked).

Disclosure of your Information

By providing Personal Information to The Hinckley Company you agree that we may share certain categories of information we collect from you in ways described in this Privacy Policy.  We share Personal Information and Traffic Data with our business partners who assist us in providing digital services such as website hosting, data storage, security, advertising and promotional services.  Those business partners shall be bound to uphold the same standards of security and confidentiality that we have promised to you in this Privacy Policy, and they will only use your Personal Information to carry out their specific business obligations.  The Hinckley Company does not share, sell, rent or trade your Personal Information with any third parties for their promotional purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information as required by law or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or to enforce this Privacy Policy.

International Transfers of Information
